The production has a star-studded cast of choreographers who were enlisted to stretch the company and excite the attending audience.

Choreographers are as follows:

Abdel Salaam, Elana Anderson, PhD, Iele Paloumpis, Amen Ra "Bam Bam" Valentine and Purelements' founders and Senior Company members Kevin A. Joseph and Lakai Worrell

PJC is the second company to Purelements (Proper) and is comprised of eighteen young people ranging from 12 to 19. These young people train all year in various dance disciplines and are delighted to present Emergent Properties to the world.

The show's title,

Emergent Properties, references a philosophic and artistic expression developed by George Henry Lewes in his 1875 work, Problems of Life. It looks at a categorical progression that builds on an artistic idea until it becomes an undeniable and complicated artistic composition
