Want to GROW Your Business & Team?

As business owners, professionals and entrepreneurs, we are constantly asking ourselves some of these questions to continue to find ways to grow our business and bottom line: "How are we performing? What are our goals and most importantly, how do we get there?"

As you ponder over those questions...here are a few "must haves" for your "Success Blueprint" to keep in mind:

1. Don't Just Preach It. Teach It!
Hold numerous ongoing training events on a regular basis ( at least monthly). Focus training on how to grow your associates and the business. Don't have the means to train them or yourself? Your chamber is great place to start! Check out our calendar of events at www.quadcountyaachamber.org to look into our ongoing workshops hosted by us and our community partners. Be sure to get registered now for the "Brand You from The Inside Out Seminar".

2. Be an Active Member in Your Community (Online & Offline)
Participate in the community service projects all year long. Share your information and be a resource. Be sure to follow up with the people you made a connection with over the next 3 business days.

3. Have a Plan
Set yourself & your team up for success! Utilize a tool to track and measure your activity and results to predict your success. (HIGHER ACTIVITY= INCREASED PRODUCTIVITY).

4. The Selection Process IS Critical to your Growth and Retention
Be purposeful and selective with who joins your team and with who you decide to collaborate with on projects. Attracting the right talent not only grows you business, it increases your RETENTION.

5.Show Your Clients & Associates You Care
One would be amazed how by saying these two simple words  "thank you" can make a world of difference to your clients and your team of associates. Get in business  with like -minded people and collaborate with the right people. Invest in them both personally and professionally. Reward and recognize them for their service, hard work and accomplishments to show your appreciation.

These are just a few tips to  help you get off to a great start to build the right culture you need in place to GROW your business and WIN!
The Quad County African American Chamber of Commerce is always looking for ways we can improve. We would love to hear from YOU! Please take a moment to complete a brief survey. We appreciate all of your feedback.

Why We Support the American Cancer Society

Saving lives from breast cancer starts  one team, one walker, and one dollar at a time. We know that the American Cancer Society is the leader in the fight to end breast cancer. We know that supporting them will ensure that if you need someone to talk to anytime of the day or night, they'll be there. If your friend is losing her hair from chemo, your mother needs a ride to treatment, or a loved one needs a place to stay when treatment is far from home, they will be there to help.Join us and together we will walk for a world without breast cancer. If you are unable to join our team, your  donation will directly help the American Cancer Society create a world with less breast cancer and more birthdays.

QCAACC - Women of Influence's goal is to raise $1,000 for our team donation. We thank you in advance for your support!
