Building Your Skills, Building Your Knowledge:
Including People with Disabilities:
Public Health Workforce Competencies
Here, you will find a description of a resource or part of a resource that will help you build your knowledge, skills, and abilities. Our featured resource this quarter was developed by the Association of University Centers on Disability (AUCD) in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), NCHPAD, and many others. The Competencies provide public health professionals knowledge and skills to incorporate people with disabilities into the three core public health functions of policy development, assurance, and assessment. Future editions of the Quarterly Digest will take a deeper dive into each individual competency. You can find more information as well as online learning modules in the link below.
