has been the cornerstone of Traditional Chinese Medicine for centuries.  Today, Qigong can be understood as exercise, a meditative practice, and/or a philosophy of health.  This mindful workshop will teach the slow, graceful movements, mental focus and relaxed breathing.  A gentle complement to other healing modalities, this practice offers relief from stress, revitalization of energy, and maintenance of a deeper sense of health and healing.

 Mindfulness - awakening to the specific, infinite perfection of the moment we're in right now -is the key to spiritual growth and everyday contentment. 

 

In this workshop we'll learn how to use writing as a powerful, accessible, easy-to-use tool for becoming more mindful. 

 

We'll learn how to turn on our inner observers and how to let go of judging, analyzing, and striving as we to tap into our deepest selves and the specific details we have observed around us. Along the way we'll create writing that is vivid and startlingly original, and we'll come away having strengthened our overall powers of observation.

 

Anyone can benefit from this class, whether they're beginning, developing, or seasoned writers, or people who just want to become more mindful.
