GREAT DAY FOR A ROUND OF GOLF!
On June 1st, 104 golfers were on hand at Club de golf Les quatres domaines for a great day of golf.   This time, Mother Nature was on our side, with the sun shining!

At the supper, President Andr é Desc ô teaux (Desch ê nes et Fils Lt é e) spoke to the members present, inviting them to sign up for the Canadian convention that will be held from June 25 to 27 at the Delta Hotel in Ottawa. There was also a draw from the contest Beat the Pro: regional coordinator Claude Robitaille and Raymond Beauchemin (retired from Marbuco) were the pros on a par 3. JEAN ROUSSEAU CONFERENCE
On June 15, at Les Gouverneurs Hotel in Trois-Rivi è res, members interested in waterworks participated in a follow up session to modifications to standard 1809-300 with Mr.   Jean Rousseau, senior director of the Bureau de Normalisation du Qu é bec (BNQ). He stipulated that they had received over 650 comments and suggestions for modifications to certain sections. The final document will be available in December. Participants suggested that the document be made available on the site by sections in order to avoid sending the whole document to interested parties. A mechanism should also be created for the nomination of companies to the central committee. After the presentation, Committee Chair Martin Houde (Emco) chose a great restaurant that we all enjoyed.

MCEE
The organizing committee met on June 8th to do a post-mortem of the exhibition. The results were excellent with 625 stands sold and 5,022 visitors.

Members suggested that we find a new venue for the next event, possibly the Olympic Stadium, which would solve the parking conundrum, a recurring problem at our present locale. Our association was well represented with Committee Chair Sylvain Fournier (Moen), Andr é Desc ô teaux, Pierre Houle (J ' U ' Houle Lt é e) and Daniel B é gin (Les Agences Lambert et B é gin).
