CASA is extraordinarily grateful for the partnerships that have enabled us to provide opportunities for foster youth to pursue their interests and passions. We firmly believe enrichment programs, extra-curricular activities, and community involvement are instrumental to boosting a child's self-esteem, promoting personal growth, and broadening their support system.

We are honored to be able to support the goals and dreams of the children we serve, and it would not be possible to do so without the continued generosity of supporters like you. Thank you!
CASA Youth Attend Summer Camp

This summer, we were able to provide financial assistance for youth in the CASA program to participate in summer camps.

One  youth, who attended a softball camp at Hartnell College told us, "I'm really happy I was able to go, especially because I missed the cutoffs for Hollister Heat tryouts this past Spring."

Another youth attended wrestling camp at Stanford University. For her, it was a dream come true; she has a great passion for the sport, and was also able to attend a wrestling clinic at UCLA through her high school.
Recent Art Projects

"My Family Dream House" is a mixed media piece created by a 9 year old youth who explains, "There is a water slide from the tree house to the rooftop swimming pool.  There is also a two car garage, playhouse and indoor pool." This dream home was designed for the Intero Foundation's Children's Art Contest.
Exploring the Monterey Bay Aquarium

CASA was recently awarded complimentary admission tickets from the Monterey Bay Aquarium, providing our youth and their advocates with fun, educational experiences.
Upcoming Events

2016 Fall Advocate Training Session
We are looking for caring, reliable (and male!) adults to become volunteer advocates for foster children from our community. As a CASA, you will be the child's voice; speaking up for them in court, looking out for their best interest, ensuring their basic needs are met, and most importantly, providing them with a responsible adult they can depend on.
The Fall Advocate Training Session starts this September! To start the process of becoming a CASA, please visit www.casasanbenito.org   or call (831) 637-4992. Help us spread the word!

12 Days of Giving
Mark your calendars, the 12 Days of Giving campaign is  right around the corner! This year, the campaign kicks off on Nov. 12th during the United Way's Christmas Gala and concludes  on Nov. 29th, Giving Tuesday. All monetary donations received during that time period will be matched by generous sponsors and donors. Funding stays local, benefiting those community members most in need during the holiday season.
