Pettinaro Expands Retail Portfolio
On December 31, 2014, Pettinaro purchased the Delancy Plaza Shopping Center in Elkton, Maryland.

The 26,523 SF retail center is anchored by PNC Bank and Chili's. Neighboring retail users include Walmart Supercenter, Chick-fil-A and ALDI grocery store. Delancy Plaza (VIEW FLYER) has superior location on Route 40 (0.25 miles from the Delaware/Maryland border) and is situated between Bear, DE and Elkton, MD. E-ZPASS Group Leases Space at the Red Brick Building

E-ZPass Group signs a lease with Pettinaro for 2,971 square feet at the Red Brick Building in the heart of the newly redeveloped Riverfront of Wilmington.

 

E-ZPass is an electronic toll-collection system founded in 1987 that is used on most tolled roads, bridges and tunnels in the northeastern region of the United States. There are currently 26 agencies spread across 15 states. By eliminating the time spent at toll plazas, E-ZPass continues to make every day travel more convenient by reducing congestion, emissions and fuel consumption. The utilization of E-ZPass has allowed toll plazas to process 250 to 300 percent more vehicles per lane.

 

The Red Brick Building is located at 750 Shipyard Drive in Wilmington, Del. This 58,000 square foot four-story Class 'A' office building boasts unique views of Wilmington and overlooks Frawley Stadium, home to the Wilmington Blue Rocks. Several restaurants and amenities are located within walking distance including Iron Hill Brewery, Joe's Crab Shack, Planet Fitness, the Chase Convention Center, and the new Westin Hotel. The property is easily accessed off of I-95, close to the Amtrak/Septa train station, and located on a bus route.

 

Currently 80 percent leased, 12,248 square feet of office space remains available at the Red Brick Building (VIEW FLYER).

Goodwill is Now Open at London Grove Village Shopping Center
Goodwill Keystone Area signed a lease with Pettinaro back in April for 22,000 square feet at London Grove Village Shopping Center and the store has now opened for business!

 

"We're very pleased to be coming to London Grove Village Shopping Center as part of our expansion in southeast Pennsylvania," said Rick Moser, Senior Vice President of Retail Operations for Goodwill Keystone Area. "The center's location along the Route 1 corridor offers great access for customers and donors in a growing area of Chester County. It also offers easy access for our transportation system to service our store location. We look forward to a long-lasting partnership with Pettinaro in an excellent center," said Moser.

 

Goodwill's mission is to support person with disabilities and other barriers to independence in achieving their fullest potential as workers and as members of the broader community. In support of this mission, Goodwill Keystone Area collects and sells donated items in more than 40 stores in 22 central and southeastern Pennsylvania counties.

 

London Grove Village (VIEW FLYER) is a 321,208 square foot recently built shopping center in Avondale, Pa. It is located just north of Hockessin between Jennersville and Kennett Square with amazing access to Route 1. Currently only one 1,600 square foot suite remains and seven build to suit pad sites are also available.

Pettinaro Welcomes Colonial Benefit Services, LLC to Orchard Commons

Colonial Benefit Services, LLC, which does business as Colonial Life, has found a home at Orchard

Commons Business Park in Wilmington, Del.


Colonial Life is the second largest provider of voluntary benefits in the United States. Kevin O'Neill, president of their Mid-Atlantic office, explained their decision to lease space with Pettinaro. "Due to significant growth over the past five years, we were looking for a more spacious and accessible office for our team. Orchard Commons provided exactly what we were striving for. We look forward to a long relationship with the team from Pettinaro," stated O'Neill.

Colonial Life designs benefit programs that fit the personal insurance needs of employers and their employees, and spend time with each to provide simple, straightforward advice about the benefits they have - and those they need to fit their individual lifestyles and budgets.

 

Orchard Commons Business Park (VIEW FLYER) is 42,020 square feet of office space spread out in three buildings just west of Limestone Road on Kirkwood Highway. This property is currently 78 percent leased and currently has suites available from 1,015 square feet up to 2,482 square feet. Orchard Commons boasts easy access to Newark, Christiana and Wilmington, and is also in close proximity to restaurants and shopping.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Signs Lease for Blue Hen Corporate Center

Pettinaro welcomes Enterprise Rent-A-Car to the Blue Hen Corporate Center in Dover Del. John Frisby, the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Regional Operations Manager, said they look forward to doing business at this new location.

 

An internationally recognized brand with more than 6,500 neighborhood and airport locations around the world, Enterprise Rent-A-Car has built the largest car rental brand in North America. Providing low rates, Enterprise offers car leasing, replacement rentals, vanpooling, car sharing, and hourly rental programs. Through its neighborhood network, Enterprise has locations within 15 miles of 90 percent of the U.S. population.

 

The Blue Hen Corporate Center (VIEW FLYER) is a 458,272 square foot single-story office building with pad sites opportunities also available. Enterprise Rent-A-Car will join the other current pad tenants Firestone and Jake's Wayback Burgers. Suites within the Blue Hen Corporate Center are available from 2,000 square feet up to 340,000 square feet. The redeveloped property boasts abundant on-site parking and is within close proximity to Route 1 and 13. It is easily accessible to downtown Dover and is on several DART bus routes. HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE
In December, we were able to collect 90 gifts and toys in our Newport office in order to bring holiday joy to Delaware's foster kids. Based in Wilmington, the Kind to Kids organization provides programs and services for underprivileged children.

Thank you to everyone for their contributions in bringing a smile to these kid's faces this holiday season!
