Preparing Students for the Future
On April 25th and May 3rd, Industrial Molds Group’s Human Resources Manager, Liz Francik, visited Jefferson High School in Rockford, to help students prepare for job interviews as well as for college entrance through mock interviews. “These mock interviews will allow students to gain experience in the interview process, whether it’s for obtaining a job after graduation or preparing for college,” said Liz Francik.

In recent months, Industrial Molds attended local High School Career Fairs to promote the manufacturing industry – and Industrial Molds Group – as an excellent career choice and to encourage learning a skilled trade. “Our goal of attending these Career Fairs is to promote manufacturing as a career choice and help students see how the manufacturing environment has changed,” said Francik. “They typically see manufacturing as a dirty, grungy job, but we’re trying to show that there are many opportunities in today’s clean, high-tech manufacturing environment.”
