Quatris Health — Now Bigger and Stronger!

On March 1st, 2017, Atlanta-based company HealthSystems joined forces with Quatris Health. HealthSystems has been a GE Centricity Practice Solution reseller for over 19 years, offering outstanding customer service and professionalism in all they do. With this new growth, Quatris Health continues to be the largest independent seller of GE Healthcare's Centricity Practice Solution to small and medium sized physician practices across the country.


We're known for our unique implementation process and our personalized support, but the legacy Quatris and HealthSystems add-on solutions and hosting services that complement the Centricity software are also here to stay. These products and services, used in conjunction with Centricity, will help our customers manage their practices with the upmost efficiency.

Upgrades on the horizon? Maybe Hosting is for you!

2017 is shaping up to be a busy year for Centricity. Centricity 12.2/9.10 has been released and it offers many exciting new features. Choose from over 200 Practice Management and EMR product enhancements, enjoy the redesigned RX Prescription Renewal to streamline your workflow, and receive comprehensive software support for Electronic Prescribing for Controlled Substances.


The next version, Centricity 12.3/9.12, will be released soon with General Availability scheduled for summer 2017. This product will be certified to the 2015 Edition and required as of January 1st, 2018 for anyone participating in Quality Payment Programs.


These products have significantly different hardware and software requirements than their predecessors. You can find the CPS 12.2 Hardware Specifications on our Podio page to ensure your infrastructure is in place to support the new product. As this can be challenging, many Quatris Health customers choose to leave the heavy lifting to us by joining our Quatris Hosting environment.

Question: Why am I unable to change the Insurance Carrier in a Worker Comp case?


Answer: To change the Carrier in the WC case, create a new case. First, change the carrier on the Employer. Then, create a new case with the new carrier. The new case will be linked to visits that need to go to the new carrier. The old case will need to be closed, however it will remain linked to the visits that require the old carrier. This will allow you to correspond with that carrier for visits the patient had while the old carrier was in effect.

Question: Is there a way to print Truven or our custom handout templates?


Answer: Yes! The Patient Education form is included with the CCC Basic Package. This form allows you to link your custom handouts templates or print Truven handout templates from an update based on age, obs term, problem, or medication. Out of the box the buttons work only with the Truven handouts, however this form can be customized with more buttons or changes based on your preference and needs.

Question: Are data backups necessary?


Answer: Yes. The default backup that runs in SQL needs to be reinforced by local IT as it is not monitored or maintained by Quatris. This basic backup does provide notification upon login if it did not run successfully, and these notifications are important. Other items such as scanned images, CCC forms, and custom reports should also be backed up regularly.
