 Herb Recipe

"Pull A-parts" Mini Herb Rolls

3 Tbsp. Margarine

2 Tbsp. instant minced onion

2 tsp. dill seed

1 tsp. poppy seed

1/4 tsp. celery seed

10 oz. can refrigerated biscuits

1/4 c. Parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Melt margarine in 8" round pan. Sprinkle minced onion and herb seeds evenly over butter. Separate dough into 10 biscuits, cut each biscuit into 4 pieces. Place biscuit pieces and Parmesan cheese in a bag or bowl. Shake to evenly coat biscuits with cheese. Arrange biscuits in prepared pan. Bake 15 - 18 minutes until golden brown. Turn onto plate and serve warm.

Buttery and savory, these biscuits are great served with a soup and salad. This was one of mom's recipes, and is family tested and approved!

One-Time Sale of Herbal Items from Founder Bertha Reppert
Friday April 11 and Saturday April 12

Bertha (Mom), an avid herbalist, opened The Rosemary House and Gardens in 1968. This accomplished author and lecturer is considered one of the grandmothers of the Herbal Renaissance of the early 1970s. Over the years, she collected herbal treasures for her personal collection. These items, including mortar & pestles, medicinal tins, perfume bottles, culinary tines, nutmeg graters, and more will be on sale during The Pennsylvania Herb Festival at the York Expo Center/Memorial Hall. All proceeds benefit the Bertha and Byron Reppert Scholarship Fund which in turn benefits two graduating seniors from the Mechanicsburg Area School District.
For additional details, follow this link.
We hope the snows of 2014 are behind us, and that we will see you in the herb shop and tea room soon! The Rosemary House is open 10 am - 6 pm Tuesday thru Friday, and 10 am - 4 pm Saturday. The Gardens are open daily from dawn to dusk. The Tea Room serves Afternoon Tea on most Wednesdays and the First Friday of the Month, by advance reservations. Groups of 10 or more may reserve any day of the week.
