WHAT YOU MAY HAVE MISSED
TC Connect Kickoff
A huge thanks to the almost 40 residents who agreed to serve as liaisons throughout the City to help you stay connected to what is happening! We recently segmented the City into 38 areas/neighborhoods. Liaisons will be contacting you as they set up groups and email distribution lists for each area. They will meet quarterly with City administration to voice your ideas and concerns, while also getting the scoop on what is happening both in your area and the City overall. More info on this program to come!

No more school, no more books...
While the first official day of summer is just under a month away, the last day of school was Wednesday. It is hard to believe we can say this prior to Memorial Day this year, but there were many happy kids (and teachers!) who counted themselves lucky to do just that! Thank you to the Fort Mill School District administration, staff and teachers for another great year!

TC kids rule!
Thank you to Dalton Jones who recently completed his Eagle Scout Project by building and installing a fitness station at Lookout Park. We applaud his dedication and leadership in completing this project. We hope everyone enjoys this new amenity  at our park!

Also, thanks to the members of the FMHS UDP for their volunteer time yesterday spreading 200 bags of donated mulch in the Living Memorial Gardens. Thanks to Home Depot of Steele Creek for the mulch and the effort of these awesome young men! Just in time for the Memorial Day Ceremony in the LMG Monday @ 10am.
JUST IN TIME
Holiday Weekend Happenings
The Tega Cay Veterans Association will be busy this weekend with a 5K race/1 mile walk on Sunday with food, drinks and a live band to follow. Then on Monday they will hold a Memorial Day Ceremony at 10am in the Living Memorial Gardens. City Hall will be closed on Monday and garbage collection will be delayed by one day for all areas (recycle schedule will remain the same).

Whatever you do to celebrate this weekend, please be safe and remember those who are serving, those who have served and those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in our Nation's armed forces.
HEADS UP
Keep 'em moving!
The City has lots of summer programming to keep the little ones busy this summer. From soccer with Winthrop players, flag football, baseball, swim lessons and even DIY camps. You can read more about the various options and register on our website.
