Greetings from Quilter's Dream!
January 10, 2018

Ten days in to January, the year is still new. The weather is still confused--incredibly cold and snowy in the southeastern and up the east coast of the US, while the mountains in Colorado are hurting for snow and we in northern Colorado are experiencing record warmth.  Just what is Mother Nature up to?
Here is a little bit of trivia to brighten your day. Did you know that this date is the anniversary of the release (in 1964) of the first Beatle's album in the United States? The Album "Introducing the Beatles" featured big hits such as "I Want To Hold Your Hand" and "I Saw Her Standing There".  So, are those songs playing in your head now? I bet they are!  January 10th also marks the anniversary of the GI Bill.  It was signed into law in 1944.
We have lots of new things getting going this week.  Baskets of Scraps Block of the Month, the Christmas Club, and Sprinkled With Love are all new ongoing classes.  We are also very fortunate to have local designer Margaret Willingham teaching a Reverse Applique' by Machine class this week.  There is a little something for everyone at Quilter's Dream.  Come in and see the beautiful samples-- pictures just don't do them justice!  Thanks so much for your continued support.  We love our quilters.  Come by and say hello.
