Conflict Management Workshop set for June 21

In all industries, careers and positions, one thing is certain: conflict will arise. Join the Chamber and U of I Extension on June 21 at Quincy Public Library, 526 Jersey Street, to learn strategies on how to be an effective problem solver and team leader. This is an interactive workshop that will benefit all employees. Topics include: understanding your personality, navigating miscommunication and misunderstanding, and resolving conflicts within teams. The workshop is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a one-hour break for lunch. To sign up, click here .
Men in Business to meet at Knights of Columbus on June 19

Learn about the history of Knights of Columbus and take a tour of the property at the next Men in Business event on June 19! K of C member Dr. Mark Holtschlag will give the presentation. Afterward, guests are welcome to use the driving range, golf at the golf course, enjoy the Sports Bar, and more! The event begins at 4:45 p.m. at the Sports Bar. To sign up, click here. Quincy Hospitality House has been part of the community for 20 years

Want to host a BBH/BAH in 2019?

If your company would like to host a Business Before/After Hours in 2019 and will not host one this year, there are only THREE EVENTS LEFT TO ATTEND: the May 24 Business Before Hours at The Travel House of Quincy, the June 14 Business After Hours at Liberty Bank, and the June 28 Business Before Hours at Sew What Shoppe!

Future hosts must attend three events this year. We want future hosts to know what to expect! Future hosts must have their signature cards turned in BEFORE JULY 12. Thank you!
