THE YOUNG REPUBLICANS OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY HOST SENATORS LINDSEY GRAHAM, TIM SCOTT AND PAT TOOMEY TUESDAY JULY 19TH, 2016

"The Young Republicans of Allegheny County were honored to host South Carolina Senators Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott who were in Pennsylvania yesterday working to keep the Republican majority in the United State Senate", said Anissa Coury, Chairwoman of the Young Republican of Allegheny County.

"Since the day of his election, Senator Toomey has kept his commitments to the people of Pennsylvania. He was elected to be fiscally responsible.  He has kept his word.  He was elected to help create jobs and he has kept his word. I am so proud to be a part of the effort to keep our commitment to him," said Coury.

"Pat Toomey needs to be sent back to Washington to represent Pennsylvania, and to make certain in January that the Republicans control the Senate for the 115th Congress.  I know everyone who joined us on Tuesday will be out there working tirelessly until election day.  The Young Republicans of Allegheny County provide much more than campaign volunteers and staff to the Republican Party.  We are out there every day helping to build our base.  We are recruiting new committee people, and candidates.  If you want to get active in local politics and help your community, the Republican Party is the party for you."

Councilwoman Sue Means needs your help with
'In God We Trust' Petition Drive
Please support the effort to place our National Motto, "In God We Trust," in the Council Chambers of the Allegheny County
Courthouse by signing a petition at RCAC headquarters and or circulating a petition yourself.

The framers of Allegheny County  County's Home Rule Charter made provisions for citizen-led initiatives.  Twenty thousand signatures are needed to place  this referendum question on the November 8th ballot.

Petitions need notarized and returned by August 5.
To obtain a petition contact Rich Majewski at 412-867-5847 or email: [email protected]
Volunteers Needed
We would love for you to come and volunteer!
  • Phone banking
  • Literature drops
  • Stuffing envelopes
  • Door to door with our representatives
PA GOP is starting to knock on doors for the Toomey and Trump campaigns. It is a great way to get involved this summer. Recent polling has shown a tight race in Pennsylvania; we can be the tipping point.

If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering, please contact Amanda Boris at [email protected] or 724-288-2875
Inform RCAC of Upcoming Events
Between now and the fall General Election, there will be many community events such as parades, community days, and festivals happening thorough out Allegheny County.   RCAC would like to partner with the local committees, and candidate campaigns in ensuring a presence at these events.  We believe this is an excellent opportunity to recruit volunteers and committee members, distribute candidate information, and register individuals to vote. If you are aware of any upcoming events, please email the details to John Schnaedter at [email protected].

Words of Wisdom

"[Welfare programs] major evil is their effect on the fabric of our society. They weaken the family; reduce the incentive to work, save, and innovate; reduce the accumulation of capital; and limit our freedom. These are the fundamental standards by which they should be judged."

- Milton & Rose Friedman. Free to Choose: A Personal Statement (p. 127).
