Plum & Penn Hills Republican Committees Golf Event October 1
78 New Sign-ups and Three Registration Changes to Republican
The West Deer Republican Committee had an extremely successful booth at West Deer Community Days, held August 5th and 6th. We signed up 78 new contacts to be notified of our events and/or become involved with the committee. Many of these were under the age of 25. And three voters changed their registration to Republican. We also distributed yard signs for Trump, Keith Rothfus and Eli Evankovich along with literature for Toomey and other statewide candidates. We also have orders for additional Trump signs. We offered a simple menu and raffles for various donated items.   Our committee members worked well together to achieve these great results.
Volunteers Needed
We would love for you to come and volunteer!
  • Phone banking
  • Literature drops
  • Stuffing envelopes
  • Door to door with our representatives
PA GOP is starting to knock on doors for the Toomey and Trump campaigns. It is a great way to get involved this summer. Recent polling has shown a tight race in Pennsylvania; we can be the tipping point.

If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering, please contact Amanda Boris at aboris@pagop.org or 724-288-2875
Inform RCAC of Upcoming Events
Between now and the fall General Election, there will be many community events such as parades, community days, and festivals happening thorough out Allegheny County.   RCAC would like to partner with the local committees, and candidate campaigns in ensuring a presence at these events.  We believe this is an excellent opportunity to recruit volunteers and committee members, distribute candidate information, and register individuals to vote. If you are aware of any upcoming events, please email the details to John Schnaedter at Director@rcac.net.

Words of Wisdom

" It does not matter that some people have more than others. If one is able to feed and clothe himself and provide shelter and his needs of life, why should it matter to him that someone else is wealthier? That sentiment is called envy or jealousy. Such vices work against one's happiness. That is why God in the Ten Commandments warns us not to be envious of our neighbor's house, ox, and other possessions. Envy makes the individual unhappy, causes enmity toward the one who has more, and creates a society built on anger, resentment, and division."

-Rabbi Aryeh Spero from "Push Back, Reclaiming the American Judeo-Christian Spirit"
