In this month's edition of TA Tidbits we share 4 successful tips for engaging families . [For those tips click here]
The Administrator Credential
The Administrator Credential is awarded to providers who have demonstrated competency in Child Care Administration.  The Credential recognizes the early learning professional who has obtained training and coursework beyond what is required by licensing.  Child care administration-specific content is critical to the development and delivery of quality programming for young children and their families. Administrators will have acquired knowledge in Program Development & Evaluation, Personnel Management, Fiscal Management, and Operations & Administration. As such, the courses that are accepted towards this Credential should be related specifically to Child Care Business Management.  General business, management or accounting coursework will not be accepted toward this Credential. There are several ways to obtain this Credential:

1.  Higher Education Pathway
Approved coursework in Early Childhood Administration is offered at local colleges and universities; specific courses are listed by clicking the link above.

2. AIM4Excellence National Directors Credential: Click above for more information or contact DAEYC Career Advisement, Phone:(302) 764-1501 to assist with registration.

Technology application approvals will be based on meeting a Delaware Star's Standard, priority guidelines and availability of funding.
