Dear partners and friends,
Chris Jacobs Ministries will be launching a new ministry called REACH. As many of you know, our ministry is called to go beyond the four walls of the church and transform our community. We are establishing this aspect of the ministry and will be hitting the streets of Houston this weekend with Operation Thirst. Those of you that are in the Houston area know that the summer heat can be excruciating. We will be passing out cold water for those that are on the streets without air conditioning. We will also be praying for the needs of the homeless and seeing how we can be of further assistance to help transform their lives.
I am asking all our partners and friends to help us in our efforts to impact our community for Christ. For those in the Houston area we need cases of water to be donated. If you need us to pick them up we will be more than happy to do so. For those that are out of state we are asking that you donate five dollars which will allow us to purchase two 24 cases of water. As you prayerfully consider donating please be reminded of this passage from Proverbs 19:17, He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto Jehovah, And his good deed will he pay him again.
