Prayers & Condolences Offered For NOMAR Treasuer, Tano Compagno
It is with much sadness that we inform you of the loss of NOMAR's Treasurer Tano Compagno of RE/MAX Real Estate Partners, Inc. Tano suffered a fatal heart attack on Tuesday, March 30, 2016. Visitation will be held at
Lakelawn Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans on
Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. followed by a service at 1:00 p.m. He was a friend to so many, respected by his peers and a very committed and hardworking volunteer of NOMAR, WCR & LR
. During his real estate career Tano served as NOMAR Treasurer, Secretary, Director for 4 years, Louisiana REALTORS® Director, LR Leadership Graduate 2015, Budget Committee, Executive Committee, NOMPAT, REALTOR® Safety Task Force, Government Affairs Committee, Special Events Committee, NOMAR Can Tree and Food Drive Task Force and REALTORS® Day Off Task Force. He was also very actively involved with WCR.

Thanks to NOMAR's $15,000 donation through a grant from NAR, the New Orleans Police & Justice Foundation and the NOPD installed 34 high-definition security cameras in New Orleans. NOMAR is issuing a challenge to all REALTORS® to join us in our effort to install 100 cameras and create a safer New Orleans! In addition, Latter & Blum made a $10,000 contribution to Adopt-a-Block and is offering a dollar-for-dollar match
to make a donation for each dollar donated by REALTORS® to the Police & Justice Foundation will be matched up to $15,000 in a donation to United Way to support their social service efforts to stop crime before it starts. Click here for more information and to make a donation!

Home Buying Course in Spanish - April 9th and 10th

is sponsoring a 12-hour certified homebuyer programs. The
Spanish course
is Saturday, April 9
th
10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday, April 10
th
1:00pm to 5:00pm. All 12-hours are necessary to earn a certificate that,
within income limitation, may open the door to Home Funds, Bond Money,parish grants, soft second funds, etc., to help with down payment or closing cost.
Classes will be held at the Hispanic Resource Center, 4312 Florida Ave., Kenner.
