Home Buying Course in Spanish - April 9th and 10th
Realizing the need to simplify the path for citizens to achieve,
"the Dream of Homeownership",
Sulli Educational Services, Inc.
is sponsoring a 12-hour certified homebuyer programs. The
Spanish course
is Saturday, April 9
th
10:00am to 6:00pm and Sunday, April 10
th
1:00pm to 5:00pm. You must attend both days of the course. All 12-hours are necessary to receive a certificate. The program is
$80.
At the end of the course students will receive verification of training that within income limitation opens the door to the various programs in assistance if eligible, Home Funds, Bond Money, various grants in each parish, soft second funds and other grants that help them with their down payment or closing cost. Assistance is subject to credit and income guidelines

NOMAR Partnership with NOPD for 100 Camera Challenge - MATCH GRANT UPDATE
Thanks to NOMAR's $15,000 donation through a grant from NAR, the New Orleans Police & Justice Foundation and the NOPD installed 34 high-definition security cameras in New Orleans. NOMAR is issuing a challenge to all REALTORS® to join us in our effort to install 100 cameras and create a safer New Orleans! In addition, Latter & Blum made a $10,000 contribution to Adopt-a-Block and is offering a dollar-for-dollar match
to make a donation for each dollar donated by REALTORS® to the Police & Justice Foundation will be matched up to $15,000 in a donation to United Way to support their social service efforts to stop crime before it starts. Click here for more information and to make a donation!

Important E-Commerce Security Change - Please read carefully
Our Ecommerce Merchant, the National Assn. or REALTORS® has been working with us since October to meet new requrements of th ePCI Standards as put forth by the credit card companies. One of those standards is the communication method of SSLthat needs to be retired and replaced with TLSv 1.2. On March 23rd, NAR will be retiring the SSL on E-Commerce live so only the TLS v1.2 method will work. This takes place at 8:30am CST.
What does this mean for you?
Make sure you are not using an old browser as it can't support TLS. If using Chrome, Firefox or Safari these browsers auto-updateeach time you use them so your settings should be fine. IE users will need at least IE 8. For IE 8,9 and 10
you will may need to change a setting. Please click
