Residents at one of our Residential Program buildings participated in a Health BBQ last Friday. Kyle Clinkingbeard, Residential MSW Intern (in green), leads residents in a nutrition seminar with an educational component using the nutritional facts label, MyPlate and daily nutritional need. The Residential team prepared the Health BBQ consisting of hamburgers with whole wheat buns, chicken breasts, fresh fruits, vegetables and good music.
Staff were presented with a number of resources available for clients, including free financial education and connections to low-cost banking options in the St. Louis area.
If you are aware of resources that might assist our residents, please contact Pat Plumley, Chief Program Officer.
