Melanie McCaleb, CPESC, is recognized nationally as an expert on sediment basin design and performance. In this 4-hour recertification course (worth 4 PDHs), Melanie will present the relevant research and practical methods used to design sediment basins, including the installation and maintenance of surface skimmers and baffles.


Course Objectives:

To learn the sediment basin design, installation and maintenance of surface skimmers and baffles and the dramatic effect these devices have on water quality. Participants will also learn the resources and tools available for NPDES permit compliance
