REMINDER: CCFC Dinner Tuesday Night with Debra Prinzing

THIS TUESDAY!

Dinner with Debra

Did you notice and follow the locally grown media coverage for flowers for Mother's Day?

Is the "slow flower movement" moving by you or are you recognizing the opportunity?

Learn how to identify and understand this trend for yourself. Join us for dinner on Tuesday May 15th at the Four Points Sheraton in Ventura and meet author and subject matter expert Debra Prinzing to hear how the "slow flower movement" is taking root in ways that could be benefiting your company.

The California Cut Flower Commission has asked Ms. Prinzing to come and speak to our farms and share what she has learned about the "slow flower movement" for flowers through her process and experience of gathering inspiring stories of domestic flower farmers and floral designers for her book, 'The 50 Mile Bouquet' (St. Lynn's Press), which she created with photographer David E. Perry.

She will also discuss her perspective on the cultural shift that is prompting floral designers and consumers alike to seek out seasonal, local and sustainably-grown blooms.

Please contact Janice Wills Curtis to RSVP at 916.441.1701 or jwills@ccfc.org.
