What is the Early Learning Performance Funding Project?
The Performance Funding Project, or PFP, is a program created to increase quality in childcare programs and family childcare homes. Programs participating in PFP receive financial incentives for increasing quality within their program!
Who can participate in PFP?
To participate in PFP, a program must:
Have an active School Readiness contract on November 1, 2017 and receive four consecutive payments from November through February
School Readiness children must comprise 10% of the program's birth through school age enrollment at the time of PFP application
All instructors/Directors must agree to participate
When will PFP start?
The Office of Early Learning contacted eligible programs via email on May 18, 2018 to notify of open application. Be sure to check your email for the informational webinar!
The Early Learning Coalition will notify programs of acceptance prior to August 2018.
Why should I participate in PFP?
Research demonstrates that high quality care leads to better child outcomes
