Demand for Environmental Literacy is Growing!

Environmental Literacy is going to be THE bandwagon to jump on. There is the Blueprint for Environmental Literacy, there is the EEI Curriculum and there is going to be tons of environmental education in the CA Science Framework & NGSS too. And there is the work you do as a local EE Providers or Teacher!!!

The demand for EEI curriculum units is growing by leaps and bounds
2015 was a watershed year for EEI and for environment-based education in California.  While our state endured another year of historic drought and wildfires, the message that all students need to be environmentally literate resonated like never before. Thanks to your dedication and hard work, we trained a record 4,800 teachers, fulfilled more than 9,000 EEI teacher kit orders (nearly 4,000 more than the year prior) and distributed over 420,000 student kits-truly a banner year!
