New York State Caregiving & Respite Coalition (NYSCRC) plans to put out a Request for Proposals for mini grants focused on volunteer program development and expansion by the end of 2016. NYSCRC seeks applicants who will partner with the Coalition to identify volunteer respite models to be started or expanded in their designated region. These programs will include a REST-specific training component.

REST trainers from Rooftop Friends Ministry in

Autumn House Foundation will hold its 5th annual golf tournament May 19 at Woodland Hills Golf Course in Eagle. The tournament will benefit the foundation, which provides respite for caregivers of family members or other loved ones who have dementia and other forms of memory loss.

A Massachusetts Lifespan Respite Summit will take place June 7 in Marlborough. The event will draw state leaders who will discuss strengthening state and community partnerships to sustain Lifespan Respite activities in the state.
