Local Youth Soccer Teams Show Their Support for Autism Awareness
Four youth soccer teams led the charge in raising awareness for Autism this past April.  They, and even some of their coaches, donned puzzle piece socks provided by RISE for each of their April games.  These teams really kicked their Autism Awareness up a notch this year!
Thanks to the Pasadena Soccer Club United  U12 Boys and Purple Storm U10 Girls, the Arundel Cobras FC U15 Boys, and the Baltimore Bay Boys U11!!

 GREAT WORKSHOP!

We had a wonderful turn out at the Dr. Mary Lynch Barbera Workshop held in April.  Over 100 participants enjoyed a full day of presentation on
"Improving Programming from Toddlers to Teens with Autism"

 Special
thanks to our partners Howard County Public School System  and Howard County Autism Society!

Thank you!

We owe a HUGE thank you to all who participated in our 4th Annual  Golf Tournament: from our sponsors, vendors and volunteers, to our participants and the awesome staff at Renditions Golf Course.  This would not be possible without the generosity of all of our sponsors, particularly our presenting sponsors, Prophasys and ClearShark, who have supported RISE for Autism in numerous ways over the years.  This year Chesapeake Network Installations also rose to the challenge and joined as a Platinum Sponsor!

SAFETY PROGRAM

SAEFTY FAIR

Our Safety Fair was  held April 19 at Ru th Eason School.  It was a tremendous success! So many families, with children of all ages, came out to enjoy the games and activities and to learn more about our Safety Program.  Special thanks to AACPD Captain Frank Tewey and Delegate Steve Schuh for promoting the event.  RISE received a special citation in recognition of Autism Awareness Month.  Stay tuned for more information about the Safety Program!
