JJC Youth Earn College Credit Through ECC Partnership
This summer, youth at the Juvenile Justice Center in St. Charles, IL have enrolled in dual-credit courses that offer both high school and college credit. This is the second year that dual-credit courses have been offered in partnership between the ROE, the Kane County Juvenile Justice Center, and ECC.

Project Backpack 2017 is Looking for Donations

Project Backpack is currently accepting donations of school supplies to distribute to students within Elgin Community College's district area for the upcoming school year.


Donations of school supplies will be accepted prior to Monday, July 31 at several locations. The event will take place Saturday, August 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at ECC. For more information on school supplies needed and drop off locations, visit the Project Backpack website. 

Kane County Schools Experiencing Shortage of Career & Technical Educators

Kane County schools are experiencing a shortage of career and technical educators, and that translates to teaching opprotunities for people with a variety of real-life work expereince and skill sets.
