Telemedicine Topic at 2nd Annual RU-N Legislative Open House
With primary care physicians in chronic short supply in New Jersey, leveraging technology may be a key to keeping people healthy, according to experts who gathered at the second annual Legislative Open House at Rutgers University-Newark (RU-N). The meeting focused on telemedicine, a way for health providers to examine patients and monitor vital signs remotely - and direct significant amounts of their care - without a need for office visits. Prominent South Jerseyans to be Honored at RU-C Event
Assembly Majority Leader Louis Greenwald, Campbell's Soup President and CEO Denise Morrison and Donna Bennett, President and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cumberland and Salem counties have been selected to receive the South Jerseyan of the Year Awards from the Senator Walter Rand Institute (WRI) for Public Affairs at Rutgers University-Camden for their leadership contributions to the region.  The awards will be presented during the 15th annual Walter and Leah Rand Awards and Scholarship Dinner, which will be held at the Campbell Soup Company's global headquarters in Camden on Thursday, April 28.  Read more here
