Ms. Brittney and friends enjoyed dressing up in their costumes for Halloween! We didn't see any ghosts, but Raggedy Ann and Strawberry Shortcake were at the 24:1 Early Childhood Learning Center. St. Louis Symphony Early Childhood PD Workshop
Wednesday, January 17,  2018
4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
In partnership with Ready Readers and as part of the Symphony In Your School Jr. program, The SLSO Symphony Education Team equips early childhood educators with the tools to engage their students in music on a daily basis.  Teachers are provided with lesson planning tools and engaging lesson ideas with an emphasis on creating and exploring music through the frame work of current early childhood curricula..

Module 11:  PBS, Positive Behavior Supports

Have you tried prevention and guidance strategies, but some children's behavior continues to be a challenge? In this session we will discuss a new way to think about challenging behavior, and learn strategies to support children in learning how to manage their emotions and their behavior.

Module 9:  Supporting Children with Autism, Emotional Disorders and Language Delays
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Saturday, January 27, 2018
After this session, you will know some specific approaches to assist children who have autism, severe disabilities, emotional disorders, and language delays. You will also learn how to support these children by adapting the environment, activities and other daily experiences. This module will enable you to provide support after a diagnosis is made.

Happy Anniversary Rose Decker. Rose celebrates 28 wonderful years with United 4 Children, as a Nutrition Consultant in the Child Nutrition Services Department. The organization feels proud to have a valuable employee like Rose who has provided many years of excellent service.
