What's Doe's Love Have To Do With It?

What does love have to do with it?  How do we support emotional health in children, families and staff?

February is known as the month of love, and we show love to others by connecting with them.  I have heard people say that they give compliments to others, and that should be enough, but is this a true connection?   Let's look at some quick and easy ways that we can really bring the LOVE back to the early childhood classroom.

We're Getting Interactive At The 24:1 ECLC

Our cute little friend at the 24:1 Early Childhood Learning Center is excited to learn using our new interactive white board. This use of technology is just one way we are helping to ensure the children of the Normandy Schools Collaborative are ready for kindergarten!

Way To Go Providers!

Congratulations to Margaret KocherTamura Binion, Chad Emma, Rebecca Mohr and Rebecca Schweikert (not pictured) for receiving the Farm to Preschool Grant. This grant was offered by the Team Nutrition Program of the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS).  The project goal is to connect young children with where food comes from through increased exposure to local fruits and vegetables, gardening opportunities and food base activities.
