Christmas Store is Next Week!

December 7th & 8th, the GSLS Christmas Store will be open, for all students and teachers. 
We are in need of volunteers to help tear down, help the students shop & wrap gifts and cashiers.   If interested please call Charlene Tegtmeier @1-414-915-5991. You can volunteer for 1 hour or the whole day.
 
We offer many unique handmade items from Etsy and area shops. We will also have an assortment for $5 and $10 gift cards to shops and restaurants. Christmas shopping list and envelopes will be coming home your students . Please watch for it coming home in their back packs.

The Christmas Program K-8th grade
REMINDER! Our 2017 Christmas Program, “Candy-Coated Christmas Carol” is being held on Thursday, December 14, at 7pm. Students K-8th Grade are asked to meet in their classrooms at 6:40pm wearing their “Christmas Best” outfit to get ready for the performance.  
 
Advent Church Services
This week and through December the students will be attending the midweek Advent church services at 10:00 am each Wednesday in place of Wednesday morning chapel service. You are welcome and invited to come to any or all of these services, celebrating the joyous Christmas season.   
Lunch Menu
This year school lunch is $2.90 per meal. There are 16 lunch days in December. If your child takes hot lunch each day, the cost is $46.40 If your child takes milk only each day, the cost is $6.40 .

This year we will be having a contest between the classes. The class with the most items per student will receive a treat.

Special Reminder to All GSLS Students and Parents!
December 14 th is the last week to check out books in the library until students return from their Christmas vacation. All library materials MUST be returned during the week of January 2nd! Designated library students will come around to the classrooms and collect the materials.
