Preschool Sings March 18th

Preschool sings this Sunday, March 18 at the 8:00 am service. We will meet in the Preschool room at 7:45 where we will warm up and line-up.

Grandfriends’ Day March 23rd

We are excited to announce that this year’s Grandparents/Special Friends Day will take place on Friday, March 23th. There will be muffins/donuts from 8-8:30am. After that everyone will join their grand-students for the morning. Please contact the school office with any questions.

AR CHALLENGE

WE DID IT!! After many weeks of hard work, we excited to announce WE ARE THE 2018 NATIONAL ACCELERATED READING CHAMPIONS!! I am so proud of each and every one of them. To celebrate, Ms. Gromowski is taking the school to a movie for an afternoon. (Details to follow) WAY TO GO STUDENTS!!

Rock River Regional Spelling Bee Results!

Good Shepherd ~ 1st Place!

Congratulations to all our spellers at last Sunday's Rock River Regional Spelling Bee! Because of your efforts we brought home the traveling trophy for another year! Special mention goes to Amelia Boer (3rd place in 5/6 division)and Kaden Kaddatz (2nd place in 5/6 division). Way to go TEAM GSLS!!

K4 Class Aid

Adios Seniora Grotelueschen!

Sadly, we are saying good bye to Mrs. Grotelueschen who has accepted a full time job elsewhere. Mrs. Grotelueschen's last day will be Thursday, March 15th. We thank her for her many years of service to Good Shepherd and wish her God's greatest blessings in her adventures to come. She will be missed!

Welcome Senior Galaviz!

What a blessings we have been given to find a replacement so quickly for our Spanish teacher. Mr. Sam Galaviz will begin teaching Spanish classes here at Good Shepherd on Monday, Mar. 19th. Many of you might recognize Mr. Galaviz from the Watertown Soccer program where he has coached for many years. Please take a moment to introduce yourself when you see him around school.

3rd Quarter Chapel-Hurricane Relief

We are supporting our South Wisconsin District efforts toward Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief in Texas. SWD Disaster Relief Teams have been assisting in the relief efforts in Port Arthur, TX. Teams have traveled to Texas to help with site preparation, drywall installation, home restoration and site clean-up.

Referral Program for Good Shepherd!

It starts with you. Refer a family to GSLC, encourage them to set a tour date. When the family enrolls and stays for at least one semester, the school will give you a $200 credit toward tuition. Please see the attached brochure for more details. Help spread the word about this great school!

Financial Aid Available 2018-2019

For families who do not qualify for the Wisconsin Parent Choice Program, financial aid may still be available. Financial aid is awarded on an “as needed” basis. If you would like to apply for financial aid for the 2018-2019 school year, please stop by the school office for further information. April 30 is the deadline for ALL returning families to submit the online application through TADS.
