ICGC's Connection & Remembrance of Muhammad Ali
While our community, country and the world mourns the loss of the most well known and respected Muslim American we remember that "From God we came and unto him we return!" ICGC has a very special connection with Ali as he was a most revered guest at ICGC's inauguration and opening on November 16, 1995 highlighted in the press links below from this past week. He served as a iconic symbol of Islam in America while he lived and continues to do so brightly even in his death.

ICGC will be offering a special Duaa praying for Muhammad Ali immediately after first and second jumma this Friday. In addition, the following community members are attending the janaza prayer and funeral services today in Louisville Kentucky. We will be sharing further from their experience.
Zaki khalid and Mujtaba Khalid
Zaiba Malik, husband and kids
Michelle Novak
Abd Tarabishi with family
Umama Alam with family

Many ICGC community members attend Mohammed Ali Janaza prayer:

ICGC tour guides Zaiba Malik, Umama Alam and these young men were very moved and honored to be there.

Zenu Tayeb and Michelle Novak, sharing in this special remembrance of Muhammad Ali together.

Islamic Center In The News

Now more than ever the American Muslim community has to take control of their own narrative and must engage through making community news accessible, provide comments, and discussions on the stories relevant to our community. We have been blessed with wide and positive coverage of the Center.  When there is positive coverage we must all give feedback and acknowledge and appreciate the work of the media. Please take a few minutes to review the media links and give positive feedback where you feel comfortable.
