Rankin's collaborations with Hip Hop superstar E-40, recent hit "In The Ghetto" and "Act A Ass" ("Be Cool" starring John Travolta), has made him renown in the west coast. Rankin Scroo has written for Black Uhuru and has produced masterpieces with numerous reggae greats including Frankie Paul, Sister Carol, etc.
