Presidents' Message
Dear Parents and Guardians,

Our wet and wild winter continues to dampen the Bay Area, but hopefully not your spirits.

We hope you will be able to join many of us in attending the   9 am presentation  this Friday by the famous Professor Fumiko Hoeft, UCSF Neuroscientist and Psychiatrist.  She will be presenting at the Valley Center for Performing Arts on the HNU campus.  This is sure to be one of the most fascinating and important talks the school has ever brought to our community.  It will be totally worth rearranging busy schedules!

A link to a 2015 New Yorker article on Dr. Hoeft and her work can be found below.

We would also like a to send a great big THANK YOU to the parents the ran and provided food for the Teacher Appreciation Breakfast!  The teachers really appreciate these events.

All the very best!

Volunteers Needed
The RPA could really use someone to volunteer for this position.

"Bring Out Your Goods Donation Drive"  Coodinators (2 Parents)

Savers FUNDrive is a new kind of fundraising event, one that will pay Raskob for gently-used items we collect, including clothes, shoes, jewelry, accessories and linens.

No one has to dig into their pockets for money; they simply need to clean out their closets, something we all need to do anyway!

But, we need two parents to help coordinate and implement this new FUNDrive.  If you want to help all of us at Raskob get our "2017 Spring Cleaning" done while making money for our school, contact either Margaret Gelini at  [email protected]  or Tiffin Groff at [email protected]  .
Calling all Girls K-5

Girls Leadership workshops, parent-daughter pairs will learn about identifying healthy relationships, finding their voices, and communicating more effectively. Girls also develop resilient responses to conflict, drama, challenges, and mistakes. The program is interactive, fun, and enlightening, and it's also a great opportunity to gain insight and spend time with your daughter in a new and different way.
