Presidents' Message

Dear Raskob Community,

Seeing as how we are in the thick of our fundraising planning for the year, we'd like to introduce you to our VP of Fundraising, Chrissy Puccio, who would like to provide the following update:

Fundraising 2017-2018

So what are we doing this year for fundraising? Here is a snapshot of all that we do to help teachers, students, and parents. We raised approximately $30,000 last year. Many of the items really helped teachers, staff, students, and parents. To do some additional amazing things this year, we hope to bring in $35,000.

Items that we are fundraising for all year long (See's Candy, Dues, Amazon, Box Tops, Corporate Matching, Spring Social) will go towards the following:
  • Waterproof outdoor lockers (56)
  • Front lobby makeover
  • Air conditioners so we have all classrooms covered
  • New outdoor sign for RPA+Raskob communication
This years Spring Social will be held on March 24th with a Renaissance Faire theme - Huzzah! Mark your calendars!

RPA Dues
The suggested donation is $100, but the RPA gladly accepts any amount your family may be able to contribute.  We strive for 100% participation from all members (all families are members whether they contribute or not). No dollar amount is too small.  So far, our participation rate is 53%.  You may give cash, check (payable to RPA) or pay by credit card.  Click here for the credit card from.  Please drop you donation to Marlen in the front office.  Thank you!

Free Money for Raskob
It's super easy to turn your suggested donation to the Raskob Parent Association into so much more.  Some of the hundreds of companies that provide matching donations are Apple, Chevron, Wells Fargo, The Gap, Salesforce, Clorox, PG&E, and Visa.  To find out if your company has a matching program, contact your Human Resources and/or Employee Relations Department.  You can also click on this link to see if your employer has a corporate matching program by clicking on this link.

Insert this link in the address bar and Raskob will get some money back when you make a purchase.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact our VP of fundraising, Christine Puccio.
