Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation Appoints New Trustees to Help Raise $54 Million in 2012

The Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of five new members to its Board of Trustees. Under the leadership of Chairman Thomas M. Holder, the Children's Foundation Board is charged with raising critical funds to help meet the growing needs of one of country's leading, not-for-profit pediatric healthcare systems.
Whether treating a toddler in an emergency or supporting a teen through chemotherapy treatments, Children's is dedicated to the care of each patient. Nearly 150 doctors at Children's, more than any other Georgia hospital, are included among the nation's best as listed by Best Doctors in America�.

North Fulton Hospital earns re-certification as Primary Stroke Center

North Fulton Hospital was once again recertified as a Primary Stroke Center by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations after undergoing an on-site evaluation and demonstrating compliance with nationally developed standards for stroke care. The hospital has consistently earned recertification since initially receiving The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval™ as a Primary Stroke Center in 2005.
