"Buy the Book" and Support George Mason Elementary School
Each spring we give books to the children of our partner school, George Mason Elementary. It is a true blessing for our church and a highlight of our missions and outreach year.

We need your help! Only $5 buys a book for a child in need. Stop by the table in the milling area this Sunday, click "Give" in Realm, or text CCE Book to 73256.
Serving is Sweet at George Mason Elementary School
...come taste for yourself at our Open House!

We invite you to come to the GMES partnership Open House in the parlor on March 18 between services (10:15-10:40 AM) . This is an opportunity to explore how you can help the children of George Mason Elementary -- by serving just once a year or every month. Bring your questions and curiosity! In honor of the annual ice cream party we provide at GMES, free ice cream will be served at the Open House!

Lenten Quiet Day
Friday, March 23, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Roslyn Retreat Center

All are invited to a Lenten Quiet Day at beautiful Roslyn on River Road for an opportunity to prepare our hearts and minds for Holy Week. The schedule includes two short meditations led by Sara Vale, Christ Church member and a spiritual director, with quiet reflection times. Quiet days are especially important as we come to the last days of Lent and journey to Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Register in Realm > Events > March 23.
Get support from others like you

Are you in the middle of taking care of children and aging parents? Join others for a Sandwich Generation Support Group. We’ll meet again on Sunday March 11, from 12:00–1:30 PM in the Parlor  and plan to meet quarterly moving forward. All are welcome!
Putting the FUN in Fundraising

Wanna see your church friends dancing to The Ramones?

Bet that got your attention! The Bringing in the Green fundraiser for the Vision Fund was held with great success on Saturday night. The funds raised from this event will enable us to be the heart and hands of Jesus to others, nurture our spiritual formation, and provide radical hospitality near and far. Check the Realm News Feed to see photos and videos from that night.
Don't be late for church! Set your clocks forward this Saturday night.
Episcopal 101

Are you one of the half of Episcopalians who grew up in another faith tradition and would like to know more about the Episcopal Church? (If the above cartoon doesn't make sense, this might be you!) Or are you a cradle Episcopalian with un-examined questions about why we do and say the things we do? Come join Episcopal 101, a study on the basics of what it means to be an Episcopalian. Led by Rev. Richard Pelkey, we will be using the short book, Episcopal Questions, Episcopal Answers: Exploring Christian Faith and discussing common themes in the Anglican traditions: beliefs and ethics, worship and Sacraments, and the Church and the future. All are welcome! Tuesdays, April 10-May 1. Register in Realm > Events > April 10.

Flower dedication order forms are available in the milling area and are due March 19.
Upcoming Baptism Dates

Baptism is our way of saying “yes” to God’s adoption of us as daughters and sons. We are “marked as Christ’s own forever” and have the opportunity to set ourselves on a life-course empowered by the Holy Spirit. If you have a child you’d like to be baptized, or if you’re an adult who never had the opportunity, please speak with Rev. Shirley about scheduling your baptism.
