Do you want to see amazing LGBT Jewish films, get to know new queer friends, take a trip to Israel with LGBT Jews from around the world, take a weekend to heal and grow from a loss, learn about how to be a local philanthropist, get to know the Jewish food movement, enjoy a weekend in Yosemite with other LGBT Jewish families, or join the Jewish Community Team in the San Francisco AIDS Walk?
If yes, take a look at our Jewish community calendar for ways to get involved and connected to our local LGBT Jewish community.
With over a million visitors from around the globe attending San Francisco's Annual LGBT Pride Celebration this year we were able to chat it up with thousands of people at our Jewish Community outreach booth. Throughout Pride month we lit Shabbat candles at Pride Shabbat services, enjoyed the richness of our community's cultural contributions to the arts at Frameline International LGBT Film Festival, the Queer Cultural Arts Festival and the Fresh Meat Festival.
Take a look at our Pride photographs on our blog and on our facebook page and tag yourself so folks in this community can keep in touch with you.
Now that Pride month has truly passed, a huge thank you needs to be shared with our primary Pride partners this year, the Contemporary Jewish Museum (CJM), and Be'chol Lashon. An additional thank you needs to be shared with all of the donors, organizations, volunteers, and community participants who made this past San Francisco Pride month another wonderful time to be LGBT and Jewish in the San Francisco Bay Area.
In pride, Shabbat Shalom!
