REALITY PARTY FOR PVHS PARENTS

You are invited to attend a "Reality Party for Parents" on Saturday, January 21st at a private home in Rolling Hills Estates. The event will take place from 2:30 pm - 7:30 pm. Each tour takes one hour and is by reservation only.
This event is co-hosted by Christina Sunada (PVHS Counselor) and Marissa Trevett (PVHS School Nurse). This event is free and generously sponsored by our PTA.
Participants will tour a home set up to portray a teen drinking party with youth actors voicing concerns expressed by local teens and young adults. The first 30 minutes are the tour of a party and the second part of the hour is a debriefing with local law enforcement, counselors and outreach programs. This will be an open forum to answer questions of the panel with handouts and resources for participants to take home.
Our goal is to educate our PVHS parent community on the dangers and consequences of underage drinking and substance abuse. We also hope that this will allow parents to become more educated about these topics and encourage open dialogue between parents and students about today's culture and prevent future impact on their lives. We are so fortunate to have this opportunity for our Sea King parent community.
