I may not be happy about the end of summer quickly approaching, but I sure do love September the very most out of all the months! It's still warm but not too hot, the sun is still out in the evenings, the trees are looking beautiful, football has started, it's my massage anniversary, and it's my birthday month! ;)
As I've said many times, I love celebrating birthdays and anniversaries. I think it's so important to honor and celebrate our milestones. By giving ourselves these yearly parties, we are better able to appreciate where we've been, where we are, and where we are going. I firmly believe in finding healthy and positive ways to celebrate and reward ourselves, and what better reward than a massage?!

I'm coming up on my 17th anniversary of being a   massage therapist and you know what I'm going to do to celebrate? I'm getting a massage! When I was 15 years old, I got my first massage to heal from multiple spinal taps. I was hooked. And not only did I know I'd be a massage lover forever, I also knew
immediately that this was the career for me. I was just a kid, but I was sure that I had found my passion, and I've never looked back. I absolutely love my job and I am so grateful and inspired that every day I get to help people feel better, relax, unwind, celebrate and reward themselves.

The JDRF Walk is only 10 days away! We are SO grateful to have already raised $6100 to donate to JDRF to help improve the lives of my son and all the kids and adults living with Type 1 Diabetes. But we still have some work to do! Our goal is to raise at least $7000 before the walk on 9/11/16.
