What are Assessment Vouchers?
 
Assessment Vouchers are $300 incentives offered to contractors by The Energy Network. To redeem an Assessment Voucher incentive, contractors must complete a Comprehensive Energy Assessment that leads to a finished Advanced Home Upgrade/Home Upgrade project. Projects must be located in The Energy Network, SCE, and/or SoCalGas territory.

Maximum of 10 assessment incentives per contractor for the current Assessment Voucher 2016-2017 program cycle. Based on a first-come, first-served basis.

How do Assessment Vouchers work? 
Each Assessment Voucher in the 2016-2017 program cycle provides $300 directly to the contractor after meeting the following requirements:
  • The homeowner must complete a Home Upgrade/Advanced Home Upgrade project in The Energy Network, SCE and/or SoCalGas territory.
  • The contractor must include a line item on the customer invoice indicating "Comprehensive Energy Assessment" to show that an energy assessment was completed on the home.
  • Contractor must complete an in-home Comprehensive Energy Assessment and provide a report to the homeowner. 
How do you redeem an Assessment Voucher?
Contractors can redeem the Assessment Vouchers after the Home Upgrade project is completed or through Vision with SCE and/or SoCalGas or through The Energy Network's (TEN) Contractor Portal when submitting final incentive paperwork. Visit http://tenres.com/voucher

To redeem an Assessment Voucher through the TEN contractor portal, contractors must submit the following through the TEN Contractor Portal when providing final incentive paperwork:
  • A copy of the customer invoice that shows "Comprehensive Energy Assessment"/"Energy Assessment"/"Assessment Voucher"/"Energy Audit" to show that the assessment was completed. The $300 discount does not need to be added to the invoice.
  • A valid code must be entered in the Coupon/Voucher Code section of the project page. A picture is shown below of the location for the code to be entered.
To redeem an Assessment Voucher through Vision, contractors must submit the following through the Vision system when providing final incentive paperwork:
  • A copy of the customer invoice that shows "Comprehensive Energy Assessment"/"Energy Assessment"/"Assessment Voucher"/"Energy Audit" to show that the assessment was completed. The $300 discount does not need to be added to the invoice.
  • A valid code must be entered in the Coupon/Voucher Code section of the project page. A picture is shown below of the location for the code to be entered.
Home Upgrade and Advanced Home Upgrade projects are eligible for redeeming Assessment Vouchers.
