MAY 27 -- TRINITY SUNDAY

Almighty and everlasting God, you have given to us your servants grace, by the confession of a true faith, to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity, and in the power of your divine Majesty to worship the Unity: Keep us steadfast in this faith and worship, and bring us at last to see you in your one and eternal glory, O Father; who with the Son and the Holy Spirit live and reign, one God, for ever and ever.  Amen.

Summertime and the livin' is...
... HOT. So we're switching from coffee between services to lemonade on the lawn this coming Sunday. Although we'll continue with two services at 9 and 11 through the summer, Sunday School and Wednesday events (except current bible study which ends June 6) have been suspended until after Labor Day. A nursery for infants and toddlers will still be available during both services.Contact Celeste Nalwasky at celestenalwasky@aol.com to volunteer your help with setting up the lemonade..
Attention knitters, quilters, etc.
The Prayer Shawl Group is starting back up and will meet at 1:30 PM at the home of Jane Twenge, 913 7th St. in Port Royal on Thurs., May 31. Bring your current sewing project or start a new one. For more information, give Jane a call at 772-538-8427.
Ever wondered about Vestry meetings?
We are seeking a volunteer to fill the important, but non-voting, position of Vestry Clerk. This person would record the minutes at Vestry meetings (4:30-6 PM on the 3 rd Monday of each month) and email them to Vestry members. If you have good listening and writing skills, attention to detail, and a passion for St. Mark’s, please contact Rev. Roy or any member of the Vestry to learn more.
Send your recipes by July 1
Our parish is creating a custom cookbook featuring favorite recipes from our congregation. The cookbooks will be professionally published and ready in time for Christmas. For complete information and instructions on how to submit recipes (deadline July 1), follow this link. To submit them in writing, pick up a set of instructions in the Center.
A Message from the Treasurer
Although we may take some time off during the summer, St. Mark’s expenses do not. In fact, this summer is busier than ever! I encourage you to stay as up to date on your pledge as possible. If you’re traveling, we wish you safe travels; if you’re in town, we look forward to seeing you on Sunday mornings. – Lewis Tabb
