The Summer Sun Brings an Added Safety Hazard to the Workplace
   Managing Heat Stress this Summer
June brings on the rising temperatures that many of us have been waiting for, but along with the warmer temperatures come the health hazards associated with heat stress.

Avoid the negative outcomes of not protecting workers from hot weather and high humidity levels through taking health and safety precautions.
Three easy ways to protect your workers from heat stress:
  • Train workers in heat stress awareness and first aid
  • Provide drinking water
  • Provide break/rest areas in shaded or air conditioned spaces
Find out more about keeping your workers safe from heat stress, and your legal obligations here.
