OVERVIEW: 
This program will offer a unique opportunity for Frederick County Green Teams (including elected officials, staff and residents) to learn more about sustainability initiatives in neighboring municipalities; share best practices and identify common challenges; and access resources for local projects. A particular focus this year will be on Municipal/County interactions and overlap as it relates to sustainability-related projects.

7:00 - 7:20pm:          Sustainability Resources - Frederick County Government

7:20 - 8:00pm:          Sustainability Interactions - Municipality/County
  • How does your town interact with the County on sustainability projects?
  • How can the County augment or enhance your town's sustainability efforts?
  • What municipal programs can be scaled up to the County level, or new County programs created?
    • Brainstorming activity: Identify shared priorities and opportunities for collaboration (ie. procurement, sharing economy, agriculture)
