Each year at its annual conference, VSTE recognizes outstanding educators through three awards: Outstanding Leader, Outstanding Teacher, and Innovative Educator of the Year. We are seeking nominations for these awards from the VSTE community. Nominations are open now through October 14, 2017.

The #vstereads Book Study began last week but it's not too late to get involved. Free and open to all with the option of 10 recertification points.

VSTE and the Virginia Department of Education are partnering to provide two days of professional development for technology and instructional leaders. Plan to join us October 19 and 20, 2017, at Daniel Technology Center, Culpeper, Virginia. The schedule can be viewed here
Two nationally recognized educational technology leaders will be joining us. Ryan Imbriale, Executive Director of Innovative Learning for the Baltimore County Public Schools, will provide the opening keynote on Thursday, October 19, 2017. Joe Fredosso, USAC consultant and co-founder and COO of Mighty River, will lead a panel discussion on Friday, October 20.
