Michael S. Steele,
Former RNC Chair and Fox News and MSNBC Political Analyst

A self-described Lincoln Republican, Michael S. Steele earned a place in history in 2003 when he became the first African-American elected to statewide office in Maryland. 

Steele is president and CEO of The Steele Group, a company he formed in 1999, which works with institutional and individual clients to design overall business development, investor, networking, and communications strategies. Presently, Steele is also a political analyst for MSNBC, contributor on the Fox News Channel, and a regular host for the Salem Radio Network's nationally syndicated Morning in America Show.  Steele also served as chairman of the Republican National Committee (RNC) from 2009 to 2011. As chairman of the RNC, Mr. Steele was charged with revitalizing the Republican Party and was chair during the GOP wave election of 2010.  

Following the Monday, April 4 LuDPAC fundraising luncheon, a number of other important meetings and gatherings will be taking place. In addition to association committee and board meetings, Capitol Hill appointments will be set up between NLBMDA members and legislators and key federal agency officials to discuss NLBMDA's policy priorities in Washington. The conference will culminate with a reception for members of Congress and their staff on Capitol Hill. The conference will take place jointly with the Window and Door Manufacturers Association (WDMA) and the Northeast Window and Door Association (NWDA), providing a wealth of business networking opportunities.
