|
With the recent passage of Senate Bill 90 and Assembly Bill 93, also known as the Governor's Economic Development Initiative (GEDI), the Enterprise Zone program was replaced with three new tools for economic development in California. Those tools include:
- a targeted hiring credit;
- a sales and use tax exemption for manufacturing and R&D equipment purchases; and
- a new, flexible tax credit for business attraction and expansion called "California Competes."
Register today to hear an overview on the new tax credit - as well as a look at what's next from GO-Biz--from the director of the office that administers the California Competes credit, Kish Rajan.
This event is free to attend and open to members of the public. We will be meeting in S2 within the Performing & Fine Arts Complex in East LA College. Please park in Structure 4 off of Collegian Avenue.
