Join us for dinner and presentation at 6 p.m., April 26, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Camp Hill. The Open Table process is the catalyst for the deployment of a Missional Community committed to the transformation of a family or individual in poverty. However, the servants themselves are often the most transformed.

GOV. WOLF SIGNS MORATORIM ON STATE PARK FRACKING
 On Jan. 29, Gov. Tom Wolf banned new Marcellus Shale drilling in Pa.'s state parks, reversing an order by former Gov. Tom Corbett to open up 25,000 new acres of additional state land to drillers in order to raise $95 million to plug a hole in the 2014-2015 budget. Read more here. LAMPa OFFERS RESOURCES ON CHILD PROTECTION LAWS
 LAMPa continues to add new resources to its page summarizing the new laws related to mandatory reporters and background checks in Pennsylvania. These include webinar trainings for mandated reporters. View it here. LAMPa has offered feedback to the legislature and Wolf Administration on the burden of background check costs for low income persons and not-for-profit organizations.

LEARN TO HELP NEIGHBORS ACCESS SUPPORT TO GET AHEAD
Lutherans for Shared Prosperity have identified access to benefits as a primary barrier to helping people in poverty move ahead and are offering a workshop designed for Lutheran congregations and agencies who are interested in helping congregants and neighbors enroll in benefits.
