Celebrating it's 7th year, the Melbourne International Singers Festival showcases world renowned artists, performers and educators in a selection of magnificent venues in Melbourne's art precinct.

We are thrilled to announce that, after delighting singers at the Melbourne International Singers Festival in 2015, int
ernationally acclaimed composer, arranger and jazz singer, Kirby Shaw (USA), is back by popular demand with his extraordinary workshops, choruses and master classes.
Kirby will also be conducting an entire concert program of his own fabulous swing and jazz arrangements in 'Puttin' on the Ritz'.
With over 2500 choral arrangements and compositions in print, Kirby's music is sung around the world and has sold nearly 20 million copies.
Singers will also have the opportunity to participate in fabulous vocal and technical workshops with Dr Jonathon Welch AM and Dr Kathleen McGuire, along with the opportunity to perform the extended versions of two of the School of Hard Knocks amazing new original works, STREET REQUIEM, in memory of those who have died innocent on our streets,
and No Excuses!, singing out against domestic violence.
Melbourne International Singers Festival is open to all community & school choirs and individual singers, with amazing opportunities to sing in the festival showcase concerts and massed choirs!
